Registers to blower

Air duct cleaning in Houston, from register to blower

Every supply and return run vacuumed with professional tools, so the dust and debris that block airflow come out on the first visit.

Where the dust settles between register and blower

Forced air moves through more metal than most people picture. Air leaves the blower, travels a trunk line, splits into branch runs, and ends at a boot behind each ceiling or floor register. The return side makes the same trip backwards, through grilles and a return plenum, pulling house air toward the filter and the coil. Every one of those stops is somewhere dust can settle.

Most ducts are hidden from view and overlooked, which is how a quiet layer of dirt and debris becomes a real one. Over time that material blocks the path the air has to take, and airflow drops. In a Houston attic, where the trunk and the flex branches sit above the insulation in heat and dust, the run has plenty of places to collect it.

Sometimes what's in the duct isn't only dust. A damp, dirty duct can grow mold, and that's its own job, which we handle under duct mold removal.

A vacuum and professional tools, run by run

We clean the system as a system. That means the supply side from each register boot back through the branch runs to the trunk, and the return side from the grilles back toward the blower. Air vents, ventilation ducts and furnace ducts all get the same treatment. Professional tools loosen what's stuck to the duct walls and a vacuum carries it out of the house, so the job is done properly from the first visit.

The aim, in our own words, is ductwork that's thorough and efficient and better for your indoor air after one visit, not a first trip that leaves a second one to finish.

The estimate is 100% free, and our $98 coupon prices a duct and vent cleaning per unit. Restrictions may apply, it's one coupon per customer, it can't be combined with any other offer, and you need to have it with you at service time. We'd rather explain how your system counts before the visit than surprise you at the door.

Signs the ducts are due again

You don't need a calendar to know. Watch the registers: a grey fuzz around the louvres, dust that comes back days after you wipe it, or air that feels weaker in one room than the rest. Pull the filter and look at it. A filter that's grey and loaded sooner than you expected is telling you something about what the system is carrying.

Other signs are a musty smell when the air conditioner kicks on after a few days off, or someone in the house whose allergies or asthma seem worse indoors. We won't hand you a magic number of years between cleanings. We'd rather look at your ducts and tell you what we see.
